The simple, clever AllofUs-designed user experience is proving so popular that it’s now used by its parent group, Vivendi, worldwide as an example of successful innovation, and Canal’s new set-top box interface will actually mirror the online version.
As well as Canal’s 120 live channels, Canal+ offers premium film and sports subscription channels, on-demand catch-up services and movie downloads, to more than 10,000 unique users a month, all through Xbox Live.
In addition to offering content, we’re also exploring the social aspects of online entertainment. That’s why Canal+ integrates with Xbox Live’s avatar system, and the ‘party room viewing’ feature lets you watch, post comments on, and chat about your favourite programmes in real-time with your friends – a groundbreaking peek into the future of interactive entertainment.
