Broadcaster and programmer Foxtel has been expanding its subscriber base by taking new products to market that reach beyond the confines of the living room – in this case, Xbox gamers. Xbox Live members can now subscribe to more than 30 channels and access more than 1000 movies on demand, exclusively through the Xbox.
The Party Room feature makes viewing sociable, letting friends plan, watch and compare notes together in real-time on their favourite shows, sports and films.
We’ve also enhanced the interface so that users can navigate the full range of content through simple gestures or voice commands, using the full potential of Kinect. A live web platform streamlines subscription processes, so that signing up or changing preferences is as simple as clicking a mouse rather than wielding a clunky remote.
