A much-lauded interactive wayfinding system for Westfield's Stratford East shopping centre, launching just in time for London 2012.
This on-site, multi-touch enabled signage system allows visitors to plot their journeys and navigate through the high-profile Westfield Stratford City shopping centre. Shops, facilities and transport links are categorised in a quick menu with beautiful maps that are concise and intuitive for users of all ages.
The interface provides an instant search for any shop as well as the ability to zoom into shops on any level.
Shop directions are given from the location of your kiosk with the map re-orientating to your position. QR codes allow visitors to download current offers and promotions, direct to their mobile, from across the centre. Other neat features include a clever ‘find my car’ function which automatically scans number plates in the car park to find your car, and the ability to get directions and cinema times sent directly to your phone via text.
Westfield, Stratford City attracted 50 million visitors in it's first year and visits soared during the London 2012 Olympic Games. The reaction to this engaging interactive signage has been fantastic with the system playing an integral role in many visitors' journeys as these images begin to demonstrate.
